Initial Visit
Please allow approximately 60 minutes for your first visit to Living Green Chiropractic & Wellness, LLC
First you will be given forms to fill out pertaining to your current complaint as well as your past medical history. We will then use these forms to discuss with you in more detail your health concerns in order to take a complete history. Next, a physical examination will be completed including orthopedic and neurological testing as well as postural analysis. If x-rays are needed, we will refer you to a local facility of your choosing. The details of your diagnosis will be presented to you and discussed with you, as well as our treatment plan for you. Treatment will then be rendered. Treatments may include therapeutic modalities, stretching techniques, adjustments and other services. Please see the services section for more details.
Your First Chiropractic Adjustment
Chiropractic adjustments may sometimes also be referred to as manipulations. This procedure is performed by the doctor, using his/her hands to manipulate the joints of the body. The joint being treated usually elicits an audible "pop" or "crack," similar to when you "crack" your knuckles. You may also sense movement of the joint. The joint "crack" is not necessary for treatment to be successful.
